Screenthumbs.com provides an easy to use screenshot thumbnail service for websites and applications. We offer an advanced system that captures and serves screenshots of any publicly accessible web page, and we offer this with many unique extras.
Free Accounts
Obtaining an account is easy and free. There is no monthly fees. Anyone wishing to improve their websites and applications is welcome to signup. All free accounts come with the same monthly request limit. Those that require more requests may purchase credits as needed.
Credit System
Credits may be purchased for accounts that have a high volume of requests which surpases the standard monthly limit that is applied to every free account. Credits allow you to request virtually unlimited thumbs, which is a great alternative to paying monthly fees for predefined packages. When your account has credits, 1 credit is deducted per screenshot request. In other words, each Unique Hit to a thumbnail image on your website deducts 1 credit from your account. Don't worry, credits are very affordable, and purchasing is very easy.

Advanced Features
- Profiles
Using profiles, you can define parameters for your requests and simply include the profile name in your url calls. This saves file size and makes it much easier to manage multiple urls.
- Text Watermarks
This allows you to enter any text that will be placed on the bottom left corner of generated screenshots for the profile url.
- Image / Icon Watermarks
If you would like to brand your screenshots, this feature allows you to upload any 16x16 pixel icon to be placed on the bottom left corner. To make things even more convenient for you, our system can automatically fetch and use your website favicon to brand the screenshots!
- PageRank Overlay
When this feature is enabled for your website, your thumbails will display Google's Page Rank for the URL requested. This feature can be enabled/disabled anytime.
- LinkThumbs
You can use this feature by placing one line of javascript in any page you want to use LinkThumbs. When this file is included, any links containing specified class attribute will be modified to add a hover effect. When your visitor places mouse over a link in your page, they will see an icon or direct preview thumbnail. Also see plugins.
